Job title: Problem solver. Like most
mothers, my proudest achievement is my kids, Brian (left) and Kevin (28 and 24 at
time of photo.) I have lots of thoughts on proper childcare, but reserve my
teaching for other subjects.
Much of my adult life has been spent in a radio station, while my “career” would more properly be described as non-profit management with frequent dips into education. Now that the boys are off on their own interesting projects, after many years of running non-profit organizations (Europeans call them NGOs) and working at radio stations, my most recent projects have included work in Eastern Europe in media development in partnership with Rich. (He's the outgoing one, I do the details.) Living in Alaska and working in the Balkans can be rough but rewarding. We're much too young for rocking chairs, so are looking for new projects. |
