Below are pictures of Belgrade, The first I have entitled "US Aid finally hits the streets of Belgrade." The second picture shows stoplights. You are supposed to shut off your engine and when the countdown clock gets to 10 seconds you can turn the car on again, a fuel saving device. The third picture is St. Marko's Church just a block from our flat. It is a replica of a famous monastery in Kosovo. The federal Parliament is the domed building. Belgrade was the second most bombed city in the 20th century. The building on the left saves some old and integrated now. The National museum is the second picture. It sits on republic square where speakers during demonstrations battled over who would speak from the horse. The flowers on the right are at the castle where the Danube and Sava rivers meet.
