Raven Radio, KCAW-FM, Sitka, Alaska.
The Raven Radio Air room. This is strictly set up for one person operation. It has the control board and the microphones in the same room. The on air person runs the computer, plays the cd's, controls the microphones and conducts interviews with up to three people. Note the microphones across from the mixing desk. This is common in the United States.
This is the KCAW news room. The news reporters mix and also can conduct one person interviews.
From these facilities Raven Radio, KCAW, operated a full range station with a strong local news program.

This is not really an Easter Egg, but is part of a series of photos of radio stations that I use in training to show people in Central Europe that all successful stations are not huge operations, but can also be small.
